I like Tom’s collages. There’s an old post of his where he shows one being made, which is great fun.
Hi Rob, thanks for stopping by. Yes, these works are great. I saw some in Tom’s studio- they are really strong– beautifully composed, well crafted, dynamic and complex, smart and engaging. They really feel like paintings, and have what I think is a rare quality: something made on a computer and printer that is, looks, and feels thoroughly handmade. Perhaps the “making of” post you remember is this one. I seem to recall more than one of those kinds of posts, but a quick search doesn’t turn it up right away. I also fondly remember this little piece on a stretcher.
